sleeping catGoing out of town can be very stressful. Why add the worry of leaving your pets home when they can come and stay with their friends at Pembroke Animal Hospital?

Pembroke Animal Hospital has indoor/outdoor runs with heated floors for winter and air conditioning for summer as well as inside cages for cats and smaller dogs. Our large fenced in yards are available for additional canine exercise during the day.

During your pet's stay they will receive regular exercise as well as individual attention from our loving patient care crew. Because we're an animal hospital first, special needs and medications are no problem for our team. We happily provide accommodations, food, blankets, litter boxes, dishes and love. If your pet is on a special diet, please remember to bring that along. Favorite toys are welcome as well!

To board, cats must be up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. Dogs need to be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and kennel cough vaccines and have had a negative intestinal parasite test (fecal test) done within the last 6 months.  We will need proof of vaccination status prior to making boarding reservations. To participate in play groups, dogs over 6 months of age must be neutered/spayed.

Will my dog be able to play outside?
YES! All of our dog boarders will get time outside in the yards.
To participate in play groups, dogs over 6 months of age must be neutered/spayed.
Daycare while boarding is for our existing Daycare Program Clients.
What should I bring with me?
We happily provide accommodations, blankets, litter boxes, dishes and love. Just bring your pets food, medications, and treats! A special toy is allowed but no bedding please! If you are bringing your own food, we prefer pre-portioned meals in zip lock bags as opposed to large bags of food. Please leave your pets medications in their original containers and do not mix them in with the food.
When do I pay?
Payment will be expected at the time of check-out. We accept cash, check, credit card and we even have online payments available through our website.
